| Abstract: | Termín Smart City je stále používanější i když neexistuje jeho přesná definice. Chytré projekty se ve městech objevují neustále, je ale otázkou, zda jsou peníze na tyto projekty vynaloženy efektivně a projekty jsou opravdu „chytré“ natolik, aby zlepšily kvalitu života občanů České republiky. Města se pokoušejí o integraci konceptu Smart Cities a tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl analyzovat koncept Smart Cities v České republice, jak je tento koncept reálně plněn za pomoci komparace vybraných českých měst, zkoumání jednotlivých realizací a jejich vyhodnocování.Provedením kritického zhodnocení se našla celá řada doporučení pro jednotlivá města, kde mají silná či slabá místa a podle toho se mohou zaměřit na uvedené projekty a vylepšit je. Tato bakalářská práce by tak měla být přínosná pro vedení měst, která jí mohou použít k nahlédnutí, jak danou problematiku řeší jiná města, a inspirovat se jimi. Zároveň může sloužit jako kvalitní přehled konceptu Smart Cities v České republice. |

| Abstract: | The term “Smart City” is being used increasingly even though it does not have any exact definition. Smart projects are not unusual in cities, however, it remains a question whether they are really "smart" enough to improve the quality of life of Czech citizens and whether the funds for their implementation are spent effectively.Cities are trying to integrate the Smart Cities concept and this bachelor’s thesis aims to analyse its implementation in the Czech Republic. It also focuses on how the concept is being fulfilled in reality by comparing chosen Czech cities as well as by researching and analysing individual implementations.The author critically evaluated the projects and found a number of recommendations for individual cities. Furthermore, the author identified their strengths and weaknesses, which can be used to address the respective projects and improve them. The thesis can thus be beneficial for city assemblies as they can learn how other cities solve their problems and draw inspiration from them. At the same time, the theses can serve as a good overview of the Smart Cities concept in the Czech Republic. |
