Abstract: | The recent emergence of blockchain technology is being seen as an important tool in the digital revolution of the health care industry, and several research studies have identified the potential of blockchain technology in the health care industry. It is on the brink of transforming the way traditional medical systems and businesses deal with the health sector and relating agencies. Blockchain, along with Information and Communication Technologies are key technologies for the decentralization and digitization of health care institutions which provide modern and digital health ecosystems for patients as well as service providers. Blockchain applications for health care data management create tools for patients, doctors, and health care institutions in line with control and access to patient’s records, claims, management of payments, management of medical IoT security, research data validations, and financial control and changes in transparency. In these applications, real-time updates are made to an encrypted, decentralized blockchain notebook to understand, monitor, and control medical information. This also makes it easier for health care institutions to restrict unauthorized access to sensitive information. on this thesis application of blockchain technology benefits in healthcare will be outlined. |
