Práce poskytuje krátký úvod do historie a příčin vzniku agilních přístupů k vývoji software. |

Abstract: | The thesis is dedicated to partial re-definition of the traditional concept of business analysis. Here, it is being perceived as a process that is composed of activities performed in both – the traditional business analysis area (creation of business process models, strategic planning and business development), but also in the IT business analysis, which is concerned with the software development and application related modeling. This way of understanding of the term is taken to ensure the holistic approach. The thesis also stresses awareness of the fact that activities of the business analysis are being performed by all kinds of roles in an organization. The thesis provides a brief introduction into the history and reasons of origin of the Agile approaches. By analyzing the agile software development approaches the agile principles are identified. These then serve as a basis for description of the business analysis within the Agile approaches. The role of the business analyst within the Agile approaches is defined as it is often perceived as non-existing or confusing. In the summary of the thesis, the main principles of agility are described, their impact on business analysis and also some areas for further development – mainly aiming for creation of a framework that could put the agile principles to the broader usage within the organization. |
