| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zkoumání souvislostí mezi stárnutím populace a spotřebou energií. Demografické stárnutí se stává problémem na celostátních úrovních, a ovlivňuje nejen složení rodiny, potřeby bydlení, migrační trendy a změny v důchodovém systému, ale i na průmyslové odvětví, mezi které patří oblast energetiky. Jelikož rozvoj energetiky do značné míry určuje ekonomickou sílu země, je nutno vytvářet předpoklady, jak se bude vyvíjet její budoucí poptávka. Diplomová práce se skládá ze tří částí. První kapitola je zaměřena na teoretický rámec problematiky stárnutí populace. Ve druhé kapitole je představen celosvětový přehled spotřeby energií a spotřeba v různých sektorech dle věkové struktury. Poslední kapitola je věnována případové studii vybrané země s nejstarší populací na světě. |

| Abstract: | This Master's thesis is focused on examining the connection between population aging and energy consumption. Demographic aging is becoming a problem at national level, affecting not only family composition, housing needs, migration trends and changes in the pension system, but also industries, including the energy industry. As the development of use of energy largely determines a country's economic strength, it is necessary to create predictions of how its future demand will develop. The Master's thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the theoretical framework of the issue of population aging. The second chapter presents the global overview of energy consumption and consumption in various sectors according to the age structure. The last chapter introduces the case study of a selected country with the world’s oldest population. |
