| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou energetické účinnosti a konceptem Energetika 4.0 se zaměřením na Evropskou unii, přičemž se snaží o zhodnocení vztahu mezi těmito dvěma tématy a určení způsobů, jak Energetika 4.0 může přispět ke zvýšení energetické účinnosti v EU. Práce dochází k závěru, že Energetika 4.0 ze své podstaty přispívá k vyšší energetické účinnosti a nalézá řešení pro zvýšení energetické účinnosti v EU ve třech hlavních oblastech: výrobě, přenosu a distribuci a konečné spotřebě elektrické energie. |

| Abstract: | This Master Thesis deals with energy efficiency and the concept of Energy 4.0, focusing its attention on the European Union. It aims to assess the relationship between the two areas and to determine ways in which Energy 4.0 may contribute to the increase of energy efficiency in the EU. The Thesis concludes that Energy 4.0 in itself is a means of increasing energy efficiency and it finds solutions for doing so in the EU in three main areas: electricity generation, transmission and distribution and final consumption. |
