| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahy EU a Moldávie a analyzuje překážky, ovlivňující jejich spolupráci. V této práci je řešen vliv dohody o přidružení Moldávie k EU na rozvoj země. Pro analýzu pokroku země porovnávám Moldávii s Gruzií a Ukrajinou, které také podepsaly dohodu o přidružení k EU a jsou členy Východního partnerství. Práce je rozčleněna do třech samostatných kapitol. V první kapitole se zabývám historií rozšiřování EU a podmínkami vstupu do EU. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na socioekonomický vývoj Moldávie, jsou zde popisované konflikty na území Moldávie. Dále se zaměřuji na ekonomický pokrok, související s dohodou o přidružení k EU, analyzuji vývoj platební bilance, vývoj konkurenceschopnosti a vliv epidemie Covid-19 na budoucí ekonomický rozvoj. Třetí kapitola se zabývá překážkami a výhledy vstupu Moldávie do EU, zejména výhodami bezvízového režimu pro Moldávii a politickými překážkami v současné době. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the relations between the EU and Moldova and determines the obstacles affecting their cooperation. This work analyses the impact of the EU association agreement on the country's development. In order to evaluate the progress of Moldova I compare Moldova with Georgia and Ukraine; all the countries have signed the contract for association to EU and are the members of the Eastern partnership. The work is divided into three separate chapters. The first chapter deals with the historic enlargement of the EU and the conditions of accession to the EU. The second chapter focuses on the socio-economic development of Moldova, there are analysed the conflicts in Moldova. More I will focus on economic progress, related to the EU Association Agreement, the analysis of the balance of payments developments, the development of competitiveness, and the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on the future economic development. The third chapter discusses Moldova's obstacles and prospects for the EU, including the benefits of a visa-free regime for Moldova and the current political obstacles. |
