| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá inovačním potenciálem regionů a strategickým dokumentem, který ho ovlivňuje v podobě regionální inovační strategie. Cílem práce bylo navrhnout vhodné postupy a podat doporučení managementu krajů pro zvyšování inovačního potenciálu. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě analýzy regionálních inovačních strategií a ověření, zda má hodnocení kvality zpracování strategie vliv na změnu inovačního potenciálu, a to jak z celkového hlediska, tak i jednotlivých hodnocených částí. Dále byla provedena analýza příkladů dobré praxe, kde byly zkoumány rozdíly v indikátorech, na které byly dané aktivity směřovány. Analýza regionálních inovačních strategií vedla k zjištění, že se nikoli struktura, ale spíše obsah strategií v krajích liší. Naopak analýza příkladů dobré praxe ukázala, že výsledky daných programů působí spíše jako stabilizátory výkyvů, než že by způsobovaly výrazné rozdíly mezi kraji, alespoň co se týče sledovaných indikátorů. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the innovation potential of regions and the strategic document that influences it in the form of a regional innovation strategy. The aim of the work was to design suitable procedures and make recommendations to the regional management for increasing the innovation potential. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of an analysis of regional innovation strategies and verification of whether the evaluation of the quality of strategy elaboration has an effect on the change of innovation potential, both from the overall point of view and from individual evaluated parts. Furthermore, an analysis of examples of good practice was performed, where the differences in the indicators to which the activities were directed were examined. The analysis of regional innovation strategies led to the finding that it is not the structure but rather the content of strategies that differs in the regions. On the contrary, the analysis of examples of good practice showed that the results of the given programs act as stabilizers of fluctuations rather than that they would cause significant differences between regions, at least in terms of the monitored indicators. |
