| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce zkoumá, jaká omezení u pacientů s roztroušenou sklerózou ovlivňují jejich pracovní výkon. Cílem bylo zjistit tato omezení a navrhnout možnosti jejich korekce s využitím především firemních benefitů. V rešerši literatury jsem se zaměřil na téma invalidity, její typy a postup určování jejího stupně v ČR. Dále jsem blíže charakterizoval a popsal samotnou nemoc roztroušené sklerózy a v poslední části se věnoval firemním benefitům a zaměstnávání lidí se zdravotním postižením.V rámci výzkumu jsem použil polostrukturovaný rozhovor se zástupci několika firem, abych získal informace ohledně zaměstnávání lidí se zdravotním postižením a zda těmto lidem firmy nabízí nějaké specifické firemní benefity. Výzkum jsem doplnil o dotazníkové šetření, které proběhlo mezi lidmi s roztroušenou sklerózou bez invalidity. Výsledkem bylo zjištění, jaké benefity těmto lidem jejich zaměstnavatel poskytuje, a naopak jaké by jim pomohli v jejich pracovním výkonu. Výsledky obou metod jsem nakonec také porovnal, abych zjistil nejlepší návrhy pro korekci zjištěných omezení u lidí s roztroušenou sklerózou v rámci jejich povolání. |

| Abstract: | This thesis examines how certain limitations are directly affecting work performance of patients with multiple sclerosis. The goal was to identify these limitations and suggest possible solutions using primarily company benefits. While literature researching, my main focus was the topic of disability, its types and methods of determining its degree in the Czech Republic. I also went into more detail about multiple sclerosis itself, and in the last part of my thesis I focused on company benefits and employment of people with disabilities. As part of the research, I used a semi-structured interview with representatives of several companies to obtain informations about the employment of people with disabilities and whether the company offers these people any specific benefits. I also added a questionnaire survey conducted among those who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis but don't have the disability status. As the result of this research, I found out which of these benefits are provided to these people currently and which could be provided to enhance their work performance further. Finally, I compared the results of both methods to find the best solutions for minimizing the effects of disabilities within the profession of such workers |
