| Abstract: | Tato práce je zaměřena na význam automobilového průmyslu pro Českou republiku v letech 2008 až 2020. Cílem je zjistit míru závislosti české ekonomiky na tomto odvětví a zanalyzovat jeho provázanost s hospodářským cyklem a ostatními odvětvími pomocí citlivostní analýzy. V první části práce jsou popsány stěžejní ekonomické teorie a charakteristika hospodářského cyklu. Druhá kapitola je podrobným rozborem automobilového průmyslu jak v globálním měřítku, tak v tom evropském, a nakonec je charakterizován český automobilový průmysl. Praktická část pomocí analýzy zjišťuje provázanost automobilového průmyslu v ČR s ukazateli jako je HDP, zaměstnanost nebo export, z čehož je poté vyvozen závěr, že automobilový průmysl je zcela klíčovým pro ekonomiku naší země. Poslední část práce poskytuje rozbor současné situace kolem pandemie COVID -19 a jaké jsou možné dopady na český automobilový průmysl a celkově celou českou ekonomiku. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is focused on the importance of the automotive industry for the Czech Republic in between the years 2008 and 2020. The main objective is to determine the degree of dependence of the Czech economy on this sector and analyze its connection with the economic cycle and other sectors using sensitivity analysis. The first part of the thesis describes the key economic theories and characteristics of the business cycle. The second chapter is a detailed analysis of the automotive industry both in global point od view and in Europe, and finally the characterization of Czech automotive industry. The practical part uses the analysis to determine the interconnection of the automotive industry in the Czech Republic with indicators such as GDP, employment or exports, from which it is then concluded that the automotive industry is crucial for to the economy of our country.The last part of the thesis provides an analysis of the current situation concerning the COVID -19 pandemic and what are the possible impacts on the Czech automotive industry and therefore the whole Czech economy. |
