| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou aktuálního nastavení systému nemocenského pojištění a náhrady mzdy v České republice a ve Švédsku a následně komparuje tyto systémy z hlediska nákladovosti, solidarity a zásluhovosti mezi lety 2009-2018. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení základních pojmů z oblasti sociální politiky, charakteristiku systému sociálního zabezpečení v České republice a popis sociálních konceptů, se zaměřením na Bismarckův a Beveridgeův model. V praktické části je provedena komparace systémů nemocenského pojištění a náhrady mzdy. Bylo zjištěno, že se od sebe významně odlišují, již v oblasti dávkového systému. Autorka vyhodnocuje, že Švédský systém nemocenského pojištění je nákladnější v porovnání s Českou republikou. Zároveň dochází k závěru, že princip solidarity a zásluhovosti je uplatňován vůči pojištěncům s nízkými a průměrnými příjmy v obou zkoumaných zemích, bez výraznějších rozdílů. K těmto výsledkům autorka dospívá za pomoci výpočtu náhrady mzdy a nemocenské dávky v době pracovní neschopnosti pro různé příjmové skupiny. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the current setting of sickness insurance system and wage compensation in the Czech Republic and Sweden. Then it compares these systems in terms of cost, solidarity and meritoriousness between 2009-2018. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of social policy basic concepts, the characteristics of the social security system in the Czech Republic and the description of model of welfare state, according to Bismarck and Beveridge. In the practical part, a comparison is made between sickness insurance systems and wage compensations. It has been found that they differ significantly from one another, already in the area of the sickness insurance benefit system. The authoress evaluates that the Swedish sickness insurance system is more costly compared to the Czech Republic. At the same time it is concluded, that the solidarity principle and meritoriousness principle is applied to insured low income and average income people in both countries examined, without significant differences. The authoress arrives at these results with the help of the calculation of wage compensation and sickness benefit during incapacity for work for various income groups. |
