| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je analyzovat, zda má růst minimální mzdy vliv na míru nezaměstnanosti v České republice, a to pro skupiny obyvatel s různou úrovní nejvyššího dosaženého vzdělání. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou minimální mzdy, jejím vývojem, modely a vybranými empirickými studiemi. V praktické části ověřuji tento vztah pomocí lineárně regresních modelů. Nebyl prokázán významný vliv minimální mzdy u žádné z testovaných skupin, jako statisticky signifikantní se ale projevilo tempo růst HDP s negativním vlivem na nezaměstnanost. Hypotéza znějící: „Minimální mzda má negativní vliv na míru nezaměstnanosti“ nebyla prokázána u žádné ze skupin. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyse the impact of increasing minimum wage on the level of unemployment in Czech Republic of selected groups with different levels of obtained education. The theoretical part presents characteristics of the minimum wage, its historical development, models dealing with minimum wage and selected empirical studies. In the analytical part I try to verify this relation with linear regression models. The results show no statistically significant impact of minimum wage for all test groups, what prove to be significant was the growth rate of GDP with negative impact on level of unemployment. The hypothesis: „Minimum wage has negative impact on the level of unemployment“ was not confirmed in any of the test groups. |
