| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá propopulační (rodinnou) politikou a rodinnými opatřeními v Evropské unii. Propopulační politika je jedním z možných nástrojů ke zvýšení úhrnné plodnosti, a tedy i k možnému zvýšení budoucích daňových výnosů. Cílem práce je analyzovat vliv vybraných propopulačních opatření na úhrnnou plodnost v rámci zemí Evropské unie. Kvantitativní analýza je provedena na základě vícenásobné regresní analýzy. Pro analýzu bylo vybráno 12 vysvětlujících proměnných, z toho jsou čtyři proměnné číselné a zbývající proměnné jsou dummy proměnné. Výsledky analýzy ukázaly, že na úhrnnou plodnost mají vliv pouze dvě proměnné ze zvolených proměnných, a to míra nezaměstnanosti žen a rodičovská dovolená. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with population (family) policy and family measures in the European Union. Population policy is one of the possible tools to increase total fertility, and thus to a possible increase in future tax revenues. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of selected propopulation measures on total fertility rate in the European Union. Quantitative analysis is performed based on multiple regression analysis. Twelve explanatory variables were selected for analysis, of which four are numeric variables and the remaining variables are dummy variables. The results of the analysis showed that the total fertility is affected by only two variables from the selected variables, namely the unemployment rate of women and parental leave. |
