| Abstract: | Diplomová práce pojednává o závislosti pravděpodobnosti znovuzvolení politických stran do obecního zastupitelstva na vybraných ekonomických faktorech, specificky na skupinách příjmů a výdajů obecních rozpočtů. Studie se zaměřuje na čtyři volební období, konkrétně od voleb v roce 2006 až po volby v roce 2018. V teoretické části se práce zabývá teorií ekonomického hlasování a testováním politických cyklů s důrazem na lokální úroveň. V praktické části je nejprve testována závislost kapitálových výdajů na jiných faktorech za pomocí modelu panelové regrese. Následně je za pomocí logistické regrese testováno, které faktory mají vliv na pravděpodobnost znovuzvolení ve volbách do obecních zastupitelstev. Závěrem práce je nalezení vztahu mezi pravděpodobností znovuzvolení a vybranými faktory, ne však plošně a jednoznačně za celé zkoumané období. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the dependence of the probability of re-election of political parties in the municipal council on selected economic factors, specifically on the groups of revenues and expenditures of municipal budgets. The study focuses on four terms, since 2006 elections to 2018 elections. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the theory of economic voting and testing political business cycles with emphasis on the local level. Next, the dependence of capital expenditures on other factors is tested using a panel regression model. Subsequently, factors that have an impact on the probability of re-election in municipal elections are tested using logistic regression. The conclusion of the thesis is the finding of the relationship between the probability of re-election and selected factors, however, it is not definite for the whole period considered. |
