| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou emoční inteligence v pracovním prostředí v ČR. V teoretické části je vysvětlena podstata emoční inteligence, způsoby měření EI, poznatky o jejím vlivu na pracovní prostředí a pracovníky a samostatná kapitola je věnovaná i rozvoji zaměstnanců. Cílem práce je zmapovat úroveň emoční inteligence vybraných pracovníků dvou firem a formulovat doporučení pro rozvoj zaměstnanců. K získání dat je použito kvantitativního výzkumu v podobě dotazníkového šetření doplněného strukturovaným rozhovorem s HR specialistkou. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují že u pracovníků ve vybraných firmách převažuje vysoká úroveň EI. Součástí výstupů jsou i doporučení pro firmy, na jaké oblasti rozvoje se u pracovníků dle pozice zaměřit a jaké strategie k tomu zvolit. |

| Abstract: | The master thesis summerized the issue of emotional intelligence in the working environment in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part explains the nature of emotional intelligence, methods of measuring EI, its impact on the work environment and workers and a separate chapter is devoted to employee development. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the level of emotional intelligence of selected employees of two companies and to formulate recommendations for employee development. Qualitative and quantitative research tools are used to obtain the necessary data, namely a structured interview with an HR specialist and a questionnaire survey sent to employees. The results of the research show that a high level of EI prevails among employees in selected companies. The outputs include recommendations for companies, which areas of development are best to focus on according to employee position and what strategies to choose. |
