| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou internetu věcí. Hlavním cílem práce je objasnění možností, které zařízení IoT přináší a samotný vývoj vlastního zařízení tohoto typu. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje princip, na kterém IoT zařízení fungují a vysvětluje, které komponenty jsou potřeba k jejich správné činnosti a funkčnosti. Dílčím cílem je také zkoumání vývoje těchto zařízení a zveřejnění statistik z jejich využívání napříč historií. Velký důraz je také kladen na bezpečnostní aspekty. V teoretické části bude taktéž vymezeno několik etických a právních omezení, které se při vývoji nebo použití těchto zařízení mohou vyskytnout. V praktické části práce je vytvářeno zařízení s funkcionalitou multimediálního boxu, spadající pod internet věcí. Spolu s tvorbou zařízení je součástí tvorba postupu, který dokumentuje postup vývoje. Do této části spadají jak hardwarové aspekty, tak i programovací jazyky, či softwarové frameworky. Součástí je taktéž testovací proces vytvořeného zařízení a porovnání s produkty, které jsou dostupné ke koupi na internetu. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis is focused on the topic of Internet of Things. The main aim of thesis is clarifying possibilities that are brought by IoT and also development of IoT device. First part of the thesis explains the principles on which IoT devices work and explains which components are needed for their proper operation and functionality. A partial goal is to examine the development of IoT devices and publish various statistics about them. Big emphasis is also placed on security aspects. The theoretical part also defines several ethical and legal restrictions that may occur during the development or use of these devices. Second part of the thesis is about developing new IoT device with the functionality of a TV multimedia box. Thesis part also describes entire process of development. This section includes both hardware and software aspects. It also includes testing of the device, along with comparison of other products, that are already available on the market. |
