Abstract:

Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate to which extent is the Czech Republic prepared for implementation of current trends in the car transportation, especially the expansion of e-mobility, carsharing, autonomous driving and subsequently, to quantify the economic impact on the Czech economy. The primary reference used for the preparedness evaluation are the goals mentioned in the National action plan for a clean mobility (NAP CM) by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters - the first one serves for a definition of terms and economic indicators that were used as well as for listing the main trends in car transportation. In the 2nd chapter, the preparedness for the aforementioned trends in terms of infrastructure/legislation/economy is evaluated. The third chapter is a case study in the form of a questionnaire-based research with aim to investigate the demand of customers regarding cars with an alternative propulsion. The last, 4th chapter serves for evaluation of economic impact of the trends on the Czech economy by using the data collected in previous chapters. The output of the thesis is for example a fiscal costs prediction until the year 2030, GDP change prediction and unemployment change prediction as a consequence of implementation of the trends as well as a prediction of changes in the Czech export and a general feasibility evaluation of the goals stated in the NAP CM.
