| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je zhodnotit čínské aktivity v Africe, zjistit jejich ekonomickou strukturu, zjistit, proč se Čínská lidová republika zaměřuje na Afriku a zjistit jaké jsou hlavní rysy čínsko – africké spolupráce. První kapitola se věnuje čínskému ekonomickému vzestupu se zaměřením na období po reformách v sedmdesátých letech. Druhá kapitola se věnuje čínské domácí a zahraniční politice a jejím rysům. Třetí kapitola popisuje současné čínské mezinárodní vztahy, obsahuje tři podkapitoly týkající se čínských aktivit v Jihočínském a Východočínském moři, vztahům s Taiwanem a také s USA. Čtvrtá závěrečná kapitola se věnuje čínským aktivitám v Africe. Kapitola rovněž obsahuje dvě případové studie. První se týká čínských aktivit v Angole, druhá se věnuje čínsko – etiopským vztahům. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to evaluate Chinese activities in Africa, determine their economic structure, determine why is People’s Republic of China focusing on Africa and also determine what are the main characteristics of the Sino – African cooperation. The first chapter focuses on China‘s economic development with focus on the post – reform period from 1970s. The second chapter focuses on the chinese domestic and foreign policy and its characteristics. The third chapter deals with China’s contemporary international relations, contains three subchapters regarding chinese activities in South China Sea and East China Sea, China’s relations with Taiwan and the USA. The fourth final chapter deals with Chinese activities in Africa. The chapter also contains two case studies. The first case study aims on Chinese activities in Angola, the second one deals with the Sino – Ethiophian relations. |
