| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá dopady Belt and Road Initiative na zahraniční politiku vybraných zúčastněných států. Cílem je zjistit, zda má tento projekt potenciál jejich zahraniční politiku ovlivnit a pokud ano, jak se tento vliv projevuje. Zkoumání se zaměřuje především na oficiální čínské dokumenty a jejich prezentaci projektu, nezávislé názory mezinárodních institucí jako OECD a statistické zkoumání výsledků hlasování Valného shromáždění OSN. Dále je podrobněji zkoumán dopad na jednu konkrétní zemi, v našem případě Pákistán. Po přihlédnutí ke každému zkoumanému aspektu jsme došli k závěru a podložili ho všemi předchozími zjištěními. Odpověď na otázku, zda je Belt and Road Initiative politický projekt, zní ano, ale jeho ekonomický aspekt je neméně důležitý. |

| Abstract: | The Master´s Thesis deals with the impacts of the Belt and Road Initiative on the foreign policy of selected participating countries. The aim is to find out whether this project has the potential to influence their foreign policy and, if so, how this influence manifests itself. Research is focusing mainly on official Chinese documents and their presentation of the project, independent views of international institutions such as the OECD and statistical examination of the results of UN General Assembly voting. Next, the impact on one specific country which in our case is Pakistan was examined in detail. After taking into account each aspect examined, we came to the conclusion and supported it with all previous weapons. The answer to the question of whether the Belt and Road initiative is a political project is Yes, but its economic aspect is no less important. |
