| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je vytvořit základní přehled o tom, jak funguje mezinárodní obchod se zemním plynem. Pro dosažení tohoto cíle se používají otázky o tom, čím je ovlivněn obchod s plynem a jeho mezinárodní toky. V prvních dvou kapitolách jsou představeny faktory, které mají vliv na obchod s touto komoditou a pomáhají vytvořit určitou představu o fungování mezinárodního obchodu se zemním plynem. Třetí kapitola slouží pro představení konkrétního případu z praxe, kdy některé z uvedených výše faktorů ovlivnily obchod se zemním plynem a jeho mezinárodní toky. Pomocí případové studie o břidlicové revoluce v USA je vidět konkrétní dopady toho, jak výskyt nové technologie a nového producenta dokážou změnit globální trh se zemním plynem. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this master thesis is to create a basic overview of how the international trade in natural gas functions. To achieve this goal, the questions of what affects natural gas trade and its international flows need to be answered. The first two chapters present the factors that influence trade in this commodity and serves to help to create a certain idea of the functioning of international gas trade. The third chapter serves to present a specific case from practice, where some of the already mentioned above factors affected the trade in natural gas and its international flows. The case study of the shale revolution in the USA shows the specific effects of how the emergence of a new technology and a new producer can change the global gas market. |
