| Abstract: | Diplomová práce popisuje vývoj cestovního ruchu regionu Střední a východní Evropa od roku 2010 do současnosti. Zprvu je charakterizován světový mezinárodní cestovní ruch, poté je popsán samotný region z ekonomického i politického hlediska. Následuje analýza vývoje cestovního ruchu z perspektivy příjezdů, výjezdů, příjmů a výdajů a jsou identifikovány silné a slabé stránky a příležitosti a hrozby turismu regionu. V závěru práce je vyhodnocen dopad pandemie onemocnění COVID-19 na cestovní ruch regionu i světa v první polovině roku 2020. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis describes the development of tourism in the region of Central/Eastern Europe from 2010 to the present. First, world international tourism is characterized, then the region itself is described from an economic and political point of view. The following is an analysis of the development of tourism from the perspective of arrivals, departures, revenues and expenditures, and the strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats of tourism in the region are identified. At the end of the thesis, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism in the region and the world in the first half of 2020 is evaluated. |
