| Abstract: | The heart of the Eurasian Steppe, Kazakhstan, entered the world arena as an independent state after the USSR’s dissolution. The aim of the thesis is to explore whether the business environment in Kazakhstan meets the needs of Small and Medium Enterprises to operate successfully. Thus, the main analysis that was very helpful to find out the pros and cons of the business environment was the PESTEL analysis. The third chapter analyses the main obstacles in the business environment as well as the regulations affecting the businesses. It is equally important to describe the programs and opportunities for the SMEs along with the FDI that affect enterprises. |

| Abstract: | Srdce euroasijské stepi, Kazachstán vstoupil na světovou scénu jako samostatný stát po rozpadu SSSR. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, zda podnikatelské prostředí v Kazachstánu je vstřícné vůči malému a střednímu podnikání a umožňuje podnikům této velikosti efektivně fungovat. Hlavním nástrojem, který byl využit za účelem zjištění výhod a nevýhod podnikatelského prostředí, je analýza PESTEL. Třetí kapitola práce dále zkoumá hlavní překážky v podnikatelském prostředí Kazachstánu a právní předpisy ovlivňující podnikání. Práce také popisuje programy a příležitosti pro malé a střední podniky spolu s PZI, které je ovlivňují. |
