| Abstract: | Diplomová práce spojuje tři témata, a to mezinárodní cestovní ruch, národní hospodářství a vybranou africkou zemi – Tanzanii. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit význam cestovního ruchu v ekonomice Tanzanie, přičemž zaměření se týká zejména příjezdového CR. Pomocí veřejně dostupných dat jsou analyzovány statistické údaje o návštěvnosti turistů ze zahraničí, výši příjmů z CR a podílu CR na HDP i zaměstnanosti. Tyto podstatné indikátory poskytují přehled o makroekonomické situaci země ovlivněné turismem. Vedlejší cíl práce je zhodnotit konkurenceschopnost cestovního ruchu Tanzanie, představující pohled na národní ekonomiku v kontextu mezinárodního CR. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis combines three topics, namely international tourism, the national economy and a selected African country, Tanzania. The main goal is to evaluate the significance of tourism in the economy of Tanzania, with the focus on incoming tourism. Available statistical data have been analysed, such as the number of visitors from abroad, the amount of income from tourism, the share of tourism in GDP and in employment. These principal indicators provide an overview of the macroeconomic situation created by tourism. The secondary goal of the thesis is to evaluate the competitiveness of tourism in Tanzania, which means a view of the national economy in the context of international tourism. |
