| Abstract: | Vznik Visegrádské skupiny v 90. letech minulého století byl z hlediska vzájemné spolupráce České republiky, Slovenska, Polska a Maďarska důležitý. Hlavním cílem práce je přiblížení a analýza visegrádské spolupráce před a po vstupu do Evropské unie a zjištění, zdali mělo toto rozhodnutí pozitivní vliv na ekonomický vývoj zemí V4. Práce je členěna na 3 kapitoly, z nichž první se zabývá fungováním Visegrádské skupiny před vstupem do EU. V této kapitole je období před vstupem rozděleno na 3 části a každá z nich reflektuje určitý časový úsek, který svým způsobem skupinu zformoval. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na vstup a období po vstupu do Evropské unie, jsou zde popsány nové mechanismy spolupráce a také se zde autorka poprvé dostává ke kritice států V4 Evropskou unií. Poslední kapitola je zaměřena na makroekonomický vývoj států před i po vstupu do EU a naplňuje cíl práce pomocí dostupných makroekonomických dat. V této kapitole je také nastíněn vzájemný obchod mezi zeměmi V4 a EU, který se po vstupu zemí V4 do EU značně rozvinul. |

| Abstract: | The establishment of the Visegrad group in the 1990’s was very important for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary in terms of cooperation. The main objective of this thesis is to analyse and take a closer look at the Visegrad group’s cooperation before and after entering European union and the revelation, whether this decision had a positive impact towards the economic development of the V4 countries. The work is divided into 3 chapters, the first of which deals with functioning of the Visegrad group before entering EU. In this chapter the period before the entrance is divided into 3 parts from all of which reflect a certain period that formed the group. The second chapter deals with the entrance and the period after the entrance into the EU where the new mechanisms of cooperation as well as the criticism towards the V4 by the European union are described. The last chapter focuses on the macroeconomic development of the countries prior to and after the entrance into the EU and fulfils the main objective with the assistance of available macroeconomic data. In this chapter the mutual trade between V4 and EU is outlined, which had significantly developed after the entrance of the V4 countries into the EU. |
