Agile Transformation of the Company - Selection of a scaled agile framework

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of agile transformation. The main goal of this work is to select a scaling agile framework for the specific company. The thesis first theoretically describes the four most used scaling agile frameworks SAFe, SoS, LeSS and DAD, from which the most suitable framework is selected for the company. The selection of the framework is based on criteria determined by the company and by multi-criteria analysis of variants. The results of the analysis show that the most suitable framework for the selected company is SAFe, which received the most points of all the examined frameworks. The partial goal of the work is to focus on the identification of risks of agile transformation of the company. Risks are identified by using literature searches and then they are related to the selected company as part of the risk analysis. The risk analysis identified four critical risks, which are management's reluctance to accept change, misunderstanding of agile concepts, general resistance to change and high workload. These risks were subjected to a more detailed analysis of the causes. Subsequently, the comprehensive measures were proposed to reduce these risks. The proposed measures include, among other things, raising the profile of management support, communicating the reasons for transformation and creating specific goals. The measures are then supplemented by further recommendations for the development of the company's transformation, for example in the area of vision, the functioning of the Agile Competence Center and the adaptation of the agile framework.
