| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zabezpečení Wi-Fi sítí a aplikací metodiky penetračního testování pro ověření bezpečnosti bezdrátových sítí. Autor na základě analýzy standardů a architektury Wi-Fi, zabezpečení Wi-Fi sítí a metodiky pro penetrační testování vytvořil návrh pro provedení penetračního testu domácí Wi-Fi sítě, která je obdobou sítě používané malými firmami nebo živnostníky. Tento návrh penetračního testu sám realizoval za využití volně dostupných nástrojů s cílem identifikovat zranitelnosti takové Wi-Fi sítě. Dále provedl zhodnocení výsledků testů, včetně doporučení vhodných opatření pro zlepšení bezpečnosti testované sítě, čímž prokázal praktickou aplikovatelnost metodiky na konkrétním příkladu. |

| Abstract: | This thesis concerns itself with the problematics of Wi-Fi networks security and application of methodology of penetration testing for wireless network security verification. On the basis of analysis of standards and architecture of Wi-Fi, security of Wi-Fi networks and methodology for penetration testing, author prepared the proposal for a penetration test of a home Wi-Fi network. This type of Wi-Fi network is also used by small companies and entrepreneurs. This proposal was realised using freely available tools, with the goal to identify the vulnerability of the network. Author also provided test results evaluation, including measurements for network security improvements, thereby demonstrated penetration testing methodology on a specific case. |
