| Abstract: | Pojem Smart City se na veřejnosti vyskytuje čím dál více, velká města se stávají centrem života pro více než polovinu populace a s tím se objevují problémy s kvalitou života obyvatel, znečištěním ovzduší nebo neefektivností správy měst. Nezastavitelný pokrok technologie implementuje právě koncept Smart City a dělá tak z klasického města takzvané „chytré město“. Tato bakalářská práce definuje a objasňuje pojem Smart City a pojmy s ním spojené. Hlavním cílem práce je zmapovat povědomí lidí na území Slovenské a České republiky o pojmu Smart City. Města postupně implementují koncept Smart City a tahle závěrečná práce monitoruje povědomí a pohled lidí na tuhle implementaci. Provedením dotazníkového šetření byly získané a následně analyzované odpovědi lidí žijících na Slovensku a v Čechách a na základě získaných výsledků byly utvořeny závěry a doporučení. Data získaná z dotazníkového šetření nebo vytvořená doporučení můžou být přínosná pro vedení měst, která je mohou použít pro vlastní plánování nebo další analýzy. |

| Abstract: | The concept of Smart City is publicly known more and more frequently. Big cities become centres of life for more than a half of the population and together with this phenomenon, problems are appearing with the inhabitants ´ quality of life, air pollution or inefficiency of municipal administration. Ustoppable progress of technology implements the Smart City concept and thus changes a classical city into a so called “smart city”. This bachelor thesis defines and clarifies the concept of Smart City together with related concepts. The main aim of the thesis is to map out the awareness of the Smart City concept among people in the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. The cities implement the Smart City concept gradually. This thesis monitors both the awareness and view of this implementation among people. Through a questionnaire construct, answers from people in Slovakia and Czechia were obtained and analysed. On the basis of these data, conclusions and proposals were introduced. The data obtained from the questionnaire construct or created proposals can be an asset for municipality administrations and can be used for their own planning or further analyses. |
