Life in an agile organization through the eyes of employees

Cílem této práce je popsat proces transformace zkoumané bankovní instituce z tradiční pyramidové organizační struktury na model Agile at scale model. Dalším cílem je analyzovat výzvy, kterým čelí lidé bankovní instituce během celofiremní transformace. Empirická část práce analyzuje výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu, který je založen na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech, přímém pozorování a interních nebo veřejně dostupných dokumentech organizace. Na konci práce jsou identifikovány konkrétní výzvy související s průběhem transformace a doporučení, která mohou být vodítkem buď konkrétní výzkumné organizaci, nebo jiných společností zvažujících přechod na agilní organizační strukturu. Přínos práce spočívá v poskytnutí reflexe o průběhu transformace a vnímání současného stavu fungování agility zkoumané organizace a také o přiblížení určitých výzev dalším společnostem, které o agilní transformaci uvažují.

The aim of this work is to describe the process of transformation of the examined banking institution from a traditional pyramid organizational structure to the Agile at scale model. Another goal is to analyze the challenges faced by the people of the banking institution during the company-wide transformation. The empirical part of the work analyzes the results of qualitative research, which is based on semi-structured interviews, direct observation and internal or publicly available documents of the organization. At the end of the work, specific challenges are identified that are related to the course of transformation, and recommendations that can guide either the specific research organization or other companies considering the transition to an agile organizational structure. The contribution of the work lies in providing a reflection on the course of transformation and perception of the current state of functioning of agility of the researched organization and also to bring certain challenges closer to other companies that are considering agile transformation.
