| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zjištění míry workoholismu u zaměstnanců ve vybrané společnosti. Dále pak analýza přístupu vedoucích zaměstnanců k případné existenci workoholismu u jejich podřízených a zjištění využívání opatření, jak aktivně předejít závislosti na práci. V teoretické části nejprve vymezuji workoholismus, jeho rysy, znaky, typologii, příčiny, důsledky a možnou prevenci jeho výskytu. Se závislostí na práci úzce souvisí i syndrom vyhoření, kterému je také následně věnována patřičná pozornost. Praktická část diplomové práce obsahuje výzkum, který je realizován pomocí dotazníkového šetření – kvantitativní perspektivou. Jeho nedílnou součástí je ověření výskytu workoholismu u zaměstnanců v konkrétní společnosti pomocí testu Dr. Robinsona, který je v dostupné literatuře považován za jeden z nejpropracovanějších. Kvalitativní šetření formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s vedoucími zaměstnanci doplňuje celkový výzkum. V závěru práce tak dokáži navrhnout konkrétní opatření. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis is to find out the degree of employee workaholism in the selected company. It analyses the managers' approach to the possible existence of workaholism in their subordinates and describes the use of measures to actively prevent addiction to work. In the theoretical part, I first define workaholism, its features, typology, causes, consequences and possible prevention of its occurrence. Another syndrome closely related to work addiction is occupational burnout which is also given attention in the thesis. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, there is a quantitative perspective represented by research carried out using a questionnaire survey. It includes verification of the workaholism occurrence in employees of a particular company using Dr Robinson’s test, which is considered one of the most elaborate in the available literature. Qualitative research in the form of a semi-structured interview with managers complements the overall research. At the end of the work, I am able to suggest specific precautions. |
