| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá postavením firem v rozvoji konceptu Smart city – chytrých měst. V České republice nebylo provedeno mnoho empirických studií, které by se zaměřovali na přínosy podnikatelského sektoru v rozvoji chytrých měst. Cílem této diplomové práce je tedy zjistit, jakou roli hraje soukromý sektor v rozvoji Smart city a jaké jsou další možnosti, příležitosti a bariéry zapojení firem do rozvoje Smart city v českém prostředí. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty dosavadní poznatky z výzkumů týkající se postavení firem a jejich angažovanosti v rozvoji chytrých měst. Praktická část se zabývá kvalitativním výzkumem, který je rozdělen na dvě fáze. První fáze výzkumu se zaměřuje na analýzu případových studií. Cílem analýzy případových studií je zjistit situaci související se zapojením firem do rozvoje konceptu Smart city v zahraničí a porovnat je se situací u českých chytrých měst. Zástupcem tohoto porovnání budou tři evropské metropole. Konečným výsledkem této analýzy je zjištění bariér a úspěšných faktorů v rámci zapojení firem do budování Smart city. Druhá fáze výzkumu se zabývá polo strukturovaným rozhovorem s českými odborníky na koncept Smart city, který poskytne pohled na současnou situaci podnikatelského sektoru v České republice. |

| Abstract: | This final thesis deals with the position of companies in the development of the concept of Smart city - smart cities. In the Czech Republic, not many empirical studies have been conducted that focus on the contribution of the business sector to the development of smart cities. The aim of this thesis is to find out what role the private sector plays in the development of Smart city and what are the other possibilities, opportunities and barriers to the involvement of companies in the development of Smart city in the Czech environment. The theoretical part summarizes the current knowledge from research on the position of companies and their involvement in the development of smart cities. The practical part is to deal with qualitative research, which is divided into two phases. The first phase of the research focused on the analysis of case studies. The aim of the analysis of case studies is to find out the situation related to the involvement of companies in the development of the Smart city concept abroad and to compare them with the situation in Czech smart cities. Three European capitals will represent this comparison. The final result of this analysis is to identify barriers and successful factors in the involvement of companies in building Smart City. The second phase of the research was occupied by semi-structured interviews with Czech experts on the Smart City concept, which will provide an insight into the current situation of the business sector in the Czech Republic. |
