Abstract:
Trh práce a s ním spojený fenomén nezaměstnanosti mají zásadní dopady na všechny sektory ekonomiky a na život jednotlivce. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit vývoj na českém trhu práce v letech 2009–2019 se zvláštním ohledem na vzdělání jako na jeden z hlavních determinantů postavení jednotlivců na tomto specifickém trhu. Teoretická část práce shrnuje dosavadní výzkum v oblasti vztahu vzdělání a trhu práce, přičemž nejvýznamnější dotčenou teorií je Teorie lidského kapitálu. V praktické části jsou mj. analyzovány ukazatele trhu práce a poptávka a nabídka na trhu práce dle nejvyššího dosaženého vzdělání. Mimo jiná dílčí zjištění bylo prokázáno, že nejvýhodnější postavení na trhu práce měla skupina pracovníků s vysokoškolským vzděláním.

Abstract:
The labour market and the associated phenomenon of unemployment have a major impact on all sectors of the economy and on the life of the individual. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the progression on the Czech labour market in the years 2009–2019 with special regard to education as one of the key determinants of the position of individuals in this specific market. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the current research in the field of the relationship between education and the labour market. The most concerned theory is the Theory of Human Capital. The practical part analyses, among other things, labour market indicators as well as demand and supply in the labour market according to the highest attained level of education. In addition to partial findings, it was proved that the group with a university degree had the most advantageous position on the labour market.
