| Abstract: | V této práci se zabýván problematikou konceptu „bad bank“ neboli konceptu špatné banky. V první části práce zkoumám špatné banky v různých oblastech jejího fungování. Zaměřuji se například na různé organizační modely takovýchto bank, jejich právní i ekonomickou podstatu nebo druhy rizik, jimž čelí. Ve druhé části jsou uvedeny a rozebrány příklady z minulosti, kdy došlo k využití tohoto konceptu v praxi. Jsou zmíněny i příklady z českého prostředí jako Česká konsolidační agentura nebo její předchůdkyně Konsolidační banka Praha. Cílem práce je detailně rozebrat a čtenáři přiblížit poslání a fungování těchto institucí jak v teorii, tak i v praxi. |

| Abstract: | In this bachelor thesis I work with the problematics of concept “bad bank”. In the first part of my thesis I am researching bad banks in different areas of their operation. I am focused on different organization models of institutions of this type, their law and economic background and types of risks they are facing. In the second part are listed and analysed examples of historic application of this concept in praxis. Examples from the Czech Republic are also mentioned (Česká konsolidační agentura, Konsolidační banka Praha). The goal of this thesis is to thoroughly examine the concept of bad bank and describe to a reader how these institution work. |
