| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá redistribučními aspekty sociálních dávek v České republice a v Kanadě. Hlavním cílem je popsat a porovnat systém sociálních dávek obou zemí a zhodnotit redistribuční dopady. Vedlejšími cíli jsou porovnání redistribučních dopadů na rozložení příjmů v letech 2005 a 2015 a porovnání redistribučních dopadů v jednotlivých provinciích Kanady. Teoretická část je věnována definování základních pojmů, metodám měření nerovnosti (Lorenzova Křivka, Giniho koeficient) a zdroji statistických dat. Dále je věnována pozornost popisu jednotlivých sociálních dávek obou zemí. Závěrečná kapitola obsahuje komparaci sociálních dávek a kvantifikované měření nerovnosti. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with redistributive aspects of social benefits in the Czech Republic and Canada. The main goal is to describe and compare the system of social benefits of both countries and to evaluate the redistributive impacts. The secondary objectives are to compare the redistributive effects on the distribution of income in 2005 and 2015 and to compare the redistributive effects in the individual provinces of Canada. The theoretical part is devoted to defining basic concepts, methods of measuring inequality (Lorenz curve, Gini coefficient) and sources of statistical data. Furthermore, attention is paid to the description of individual social benefits of both countries. The final chapter contains a comparison of social benefits and a quantified measurement of inequality. |
