| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá tématem trh kryptoměn. Studuje problematiku peněz, technologie stojící za vznikem kryptoměn a podrobně porovnává Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash a Litecoin z pohledu investora. Porovnává historický vývoj, tržní kapitalizaci, rozložení na trhu, emisi a množství mincí v oběhu, inflaci, objem obchodování, poplatky za transakce, volatilitu a návratnosti investice. Dochází k závěru, že veškeré zmíněné kryptoměny jsou vhodné pouze pro vysoce rizikově averzní investory a neexistuje optimální diverzifikace portfolia. Na bázi výsledků se jeví jako nejvhodnější kryptoměna k investici bitcoin. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with topic of cryptocurrency market. It studies definition of money, technology standing behind the rise of cryptocurrency and in a detailed manner examines Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin from the investor’s point of view. It compares historical evolution, market capitalization, the distribution, emission and amount of coins in the monetary base, inflation, volume of transactions, transaction fees, volatility and return on investements of all the mentioned cryptocurrencies. This thesis leads to conclusion that all of the mentioned cryptocurrencies are only for high-risk averse investors and there doesn’t exist any optimal diverzification for creating an investment portfolio. Base on the comparements Bitcoin is the most suitable cryptocurrency to invest out of the five. |
