Design of a Self-service BI solution for a selected clinic

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the creation of a self-service business intelligence solution for a selected aesthetic clinic. The aim was to create an SSBI solution for the plastic surgery clinic Made by Juraj Payer s.r.o., which focuses on the analysis of client data of mentioned company and the workload of its administrative staff, which is closely linked to the demographic structure of its clients. The methods used for the implementation of the mentioned solution are: document analysis, observation of processes in the company, analysis of the company and its information system, data and dimensional modelling for the proposal of the created solution. The short theoretical part of the thesis describes the concept of BI and SSBI, the following, practical, part describes the proven analysis of the company and then the design and creation of SSBI solution. All specific goals, including sub-goals such as the analysis of the company, were met. A reporting application was created, including a dashboard using graphs that relate to client structure, company sales, the popularity of the procedures performed and the workload of the clinic's employees. From the mentioned graphs, it is possible to read the association between demographic groups of clients and the popularity of individual offered interventions, which is absolutely necessary for the company's management. At the end of the work are, among other things, proposed steps to further expand the SSBI solution, including the creation of additional graphs and dashboards from already included data sources, which can lead the company without the need for deep knowledge of the issue or expert assistance.
