| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je navrhnout a v rámci pilotního projektu implementovat business intelligence systém pro firmu Epico International s.r.o. První část práce představuje firmu Epico International s.r.o. Je zde popsána její historie, zaměření a organizační struktura. Poté jsou popsány business požadavky na BI systém a čtyři business potřeby. Hlavní část práce se věnuje teorii datového skladu, která je v další části aplikována na firmu Epico a její business požadavky a slouží jako východisko pro návrh BI systému. Výsledkem práce je za prvé funkční BI systém, který splňuje všechny požadavky managementu a koncových uživatelů a za druhé road map popilotního rozvoje projektu. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a business intelligence system for Epico International s.r.o. The first part of the thesis introduces the company Epico International s.r.o. - its history, scope of business and organizational structure. The next section focuses on the business requirements and business needs for the BI system. The main part of the thesis describes theoretical background of a data warehouse architecture, which is then applied in the next section to Epico International and serves as a starting point for the design of a BI system. The results of the work are, firstly, a functional BI system that meets all the requirements of company’s management and end users, and secondly, a road map of the after-pilot development of the project. |
