| Abstract: | Cílem práce je komparace životní úrovně v České republice a na Slovensku. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmy životní úroveň a kvalita života a rozpracovává nejrůznější nástroje pro měření životní úrovně. Praktickou část tvoří komparace obou zemí pomocí tří vybraných nástrojů a zhodnocení výsledků vlastního šetření (ankety). Účelem ankety bylo zjistit postoje a názory studentů na případné snížení životní úrovně v souvislosti se současnou pandemií covid-19. Výsledky jsou interpretovány pomocí grafů a tabulek a prokazují vyšší životní úroveň v České republice a (dle názorů respondentů) značné snížení životní úrovně obou zemí v souvislosti s covid-19. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis is to compare the standard of living in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of living standards and quality of life and develops various tools for measuring living standards. The practical part consists of a comparison of both countries with the help of three selected tools and evaluation of the results of the survey. The purpose of the survey was to find out the attitudes and opinions of students on a possible reduction in living standards in connection with the current COVID-19 pandemic. The results are interpreted using graphs and tables and show a higher standard of living in the Czech Republic and (according to respondents) a significant decrease in the standard of living of both countries in connection with COVID-19. |
