| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o zajištění pojišťoven jako (mimo jiné) nástroj diverzifikace rizika. Hlavním cílem je tedy analyzovat činnost a chování zajišťoven. Teoretická část obsahuje vysvětlení, jak fungují zajišťovny, proč je vůbec zajištění využíváno, za jakých podmínek, a jaké jsou možnosti; a v praktické části ukážu na konkrétním příkladě průběh přijetí rizik do fakultativního zajištění, včetně jejich posouzení a nacenění. Výsledkem této práce je, dle mého názoru, užitečná příručka o tom, jak se orientovat ve světě zajištění, a tedy přínosem pro všechny, co budou tuto práci číst, by mělo být nabytí vědomostí o zajistném trhu a jeho porozumění. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is about reinsurance companies and how they enable insurance companies to diversify risk and increase their underwriting capacity. The aim of this thesis is to deeply analyze the operation and behaviour of reinsurance companies. Theoretical part contains an explanation of how reinsurance companies work, why reinsurance is bought, under what conditions and what the possibilities are. Practical part shows how reinsurance companies act in terms of underwriting a new contract on an example, while focusing mostly on facultative reinsurance. In my opinion, this thesis resulted in a useful guide on how to understand the reinsurance market, therefore, the reader should gain more knowledge about reinsurance after reading this thesis. |
