| Abstract: | Tématem této práce je popis motivů Čechů k migraci do USA. Cílem této bakalářské práce je sumarizovat důležité poznatky z oblasti migrace, jako deskripce hlavních migračních teorií, identifikace hlavních motivů migranta dle Schwartzovy teorie základních hodnot a přiblížení právních aspektů legálního pobytu v USA. Výzkumná část se věnuje identifikaci prvotních motivů migranta a míry jejich naplnění dle metody zakotvené teorie, přičemž dochází k popsání jejich příčin, kontextu a následků s využitím softwaru F4transkript a F4analyse. Dílčím cílem práce je komparace výstupů se Schwartzovou teorií lidských hodnot. Výzkum se zaměřuje přímo na migraci Čechů do USA. Závěrem jsou shrnuty veškeré poznatky, míra naplnění cílů a případná doporučení k dalšímu výzkumu. |

| Abstract: | The summary of this thesis explores the reasoning of Czech immigrants as they move to the USA. The goal of this work was to summarize important immigration observations using the Schwartz Theory. This theory was applied to understand and idenitify primary driving factors for emigration. Several people were interviewed, and the data was subsequently analyzed using F4transkript and F4analyse to understand the migrant’s motiviation, context, their own immigration experience and consequences. The study is directly focused on Czechs emigrating to the USA. All findings, objectives and recommendations for further research are all summarized in the conclusion of this thesis. |
