| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ochrany osobních údajů a dopady, jež přineslo do sektoru bankovnictví a pojišťovnictví přijetí Nařízení Evropského parlamentu a Rady (EU) 2016/679, Obecné nařízení o ochraně fyzických osob v souvislosti se zpracováním osobních údajů a o volném pohybu těchto údajů a o zrušení směrnice 95/46/ES. Toto téma je i v této době aktuální, neboť byl přijat v České republice inovativní zákon č. 110/2019 Sb., o zpracování osobních údajů, jež toto Nařízení doplňuje a nahrazuje starou legislativu. Cílem práce je vymezení právního rámce ochrany osobních údajů a ukázka procesu implementace do společnosti, včetně zhodnocení vlivu na sektor bankovnictví a pojišťovnictví. Závěr práce zmiňuje reálné právní spory, jež se vedly, popř. stále aktuálně probíhají a váží se k problematice ochrany osobních údajů. Tato bakalářská práce je zpracována především pomocí literární rešerše, explanace a závěrem analýzou z praxe. Přínos této práce je zaprvé pro subjekty, jež přemýšlí o začátku činnosti v oblasti bankovnictví či pojišťovnictví a potřebují zjistit okolnosti, které budou potřeba pro úspěšnou a efektivní implementaci a zadruhé i pro většinu, v tomto sektoru nezainteresovaných, čtenářů, jelikož prakticky každý vlastní např. bankovní účet či pojistnou smlouvu a mohl by mít tudíž zájem se poučit o tom, jaké náležitosti mají společnosti v tomto sektoru a jak nakládají s jejich osobními a často citlivými daty. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of personal data protection and the impact on the banking and insurance sectors, that the adoption of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC brought. This topic is still relevant at this time as the innovative Act No. 110/2019 Sb., on the processing of personal data, was adopted in the Czech Republic, which complements the Regulation and replaces the old legislation. The aim of this thesis is to define the legal framework for personal data protection and demonstrate the process of implementation in society, including the evaluation of the impact on the banking and insurance sectors. The final part of this thesis mentions the real legal disputes that took place, or. they are still ongoing and related to the issue of personal data protection. This bachelor's thesis is processed mainly by means of literary research, explanation and conclusion by analysis from practice. The benefits of this thesis is firstly for entities that are thinking about starting a business in the field of banking or insurance and need to identify the circumstances that will be needed for successful and effective implementation and secondly for most readers, not interested in this sector, because almost everyone owns e.g. bank account or has some form of insurance contract and could therefore be interested in learning aboutthe requirements of companies in this sector and how they handle their personal and often sensitive data. |
