| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou ochrany spotřebitele v ČR a na Slovensku při uzavírání smluv přes internet. Cílem práce bylo na základě analýzy obchodních podmínek vybraného internetového obchodu zhodnotit, zda mezi těmito dvěma zeměmi existují podstatné rozdíly v úrovni ochrany spotřebitele při nakupování na internetu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část a obsahuje 8 kapitol. V teoretické části jsou rozebrány platné české a slovenské právní předpisy upravující oblast distančních smluv a také nově přijaté směrnice na ochranu spotřebitele v rámci práva evropského. Praktická část je zaměřena na komparaci příslušných právních úprav, na základě které bylo zjištěno, že ochrana spotřebitele při nakupování na internetu je v ČR a na Slovensku srovnatelná. Závěr praktické části je zaměřen na vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, týkajícího se povědomí respondentů o jejich právech v oblasti ochrany spotřebitele při nakupování na internetu. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the issue of consumer protection in the Czech Republic and Slovakia when concluding contracts over the Internet. The aim of the work was based on the analysis of business conditions of a selected online store to evaluate whether there are significant differences between the two countries in the level of consumer protection when shopping online. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part and contains 8 chapters. The theoretical part discusses the valid Czech and Slovak legislation governing the field of distance contracts, as well as the newly adopted directives on consumer protection under European law. The practical part focuses on the comparison of relevant legislation, based on which it was found that consumer protection when shopping online is comparable in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The conclusion of the practical part is focused on the evaluation of a questionnaire survey concerning the awareness of respondents about their rights in the field of consumer protection when shopping online. |
