Integraiton of Corporate Processes in the New Target System

Thesis deals with project of migration and optimization of selected company processes in Generali Česká pojištovna. Main goal of this thesis is creation of suitable process hier-archy and structure allowing for dependable IT effort spent on delivery of business pro-jects. Main processes involved in this are change management and release and deploy-ment management. Process design is based upon combination of Information Technolo-gy Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) frameworks, given project goals and feedback from stakeholders involved. Next these selected processes are then put into the context of selected frameworks and their suggested target capability level based on COBIT is determined. Furthermore, the work is divided accordingly to partial its partial goals. The solution of the partial goal includes the analysis of requirements and of the initial state, the design of a new solution, if possible, optimization of the process and demonstration of imple-mentation of the proposed solution. At the end, a look back at the project and summary of lessons learned from its implementation is included.
