| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá právním postavením ombudsmana v České republice, Slovenské republice a Švédsku. Cílem práce je ověřit rozdíly právního postavení ombudsmanů a identifikování společných rysů v jednotlivých státech. V práci jsou položeny dvě výzkumné otázky: Ve které zemi má instituce ombudsmana nejvíce zvláštních oprávnění? Ve které zemi má instituce ombudsmana nejširší působnost? Jednou z použitých metod je analýza, která zkoumá dílčí prvky instituce ombudsmana v každém státě. Metoda syntézy spojuje a shrnuje nalezené prvky dohromady pro následnou evaluaci. Na závěr je provedena komparace postavení ombudsmanů ve vymezených zemích. První kapitola se zabývá obecným vymezením instituce ombudsmana, následující tři kapitoly pojednávají o ombudsmanech ve vymezených zemích. Práce končí zodpovězením výzkumných otázek, identifikováním společných rysů a ověřením rozdílů právních postavení v jednotlivých zemích. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis is about the legal status of the ombudsman in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, and Sweden. The thesis aims to verify the differences in the legal status of the ombudsman and the identification of common features in each state. Two research questions are mentioned in this thesis. In which country does the ombudsman institution have the most special powers? In which country does the ombudsman institution have the widest scope? One of the methods used is an analysis that examines the sub-elements of the ombudsman institution in each state. The synthesis method brings together and summarizes the found elements together for subsequent evaluation. Finally, a comparison of the position of ombudsmen in defined countries is made. The first chapter deals with the general definition of the institution of the ombudsman, the following three chapters deal with ombudsmen in the defined countries. The thesis ends with answering research questions, identifying common features, and verifying differences in legal status in different countries. |
