| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou postavení muslimských žen v mezinárodní politice, kterou považuji za jeden z největších současných globálních politických a sociálních problémů. Hlavním cílem práce je zmapovat, jak uspěly ženy z islámských zemí v mezinárodní politice. Povědomí o problematice v posledních letech stále roste, především díky médiím a sociálním sítím. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V teoretické části je objasněno pozadí problému a obecné postavení žen v muslimské společnosti na základě jejich kultury a náboženství, včetně násilí, pohledu muslimských žen na feminismus a jejich názoru na politiku. Empirická část je založena na případové studii tří muslimských zemí Blízkého východu, konkrétně Saúdské Arábii, Pákistánu a Jordánsku. Poslední kapitola se zabývá reakcemi mezinárodních a nevládních organizací a komparací zpráv ze západních a islámských médií. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the position of Muslim women in international politics, which I consider to be one of the biggest current global political and social problems. The main goal of this work is to determine how women from Islamic countries succeed in international politics. Awareness of the issue has been growing in recent years, mainly due to the media and social networks. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The theoretical part clarifies the background of the problem and the general position of women in Muslim society based on their culture and religion, including violence, the view of Muslim women on feminism and their views on politics. The empirical part is based on a case study of three Muslim countries in the Middle East, specifically Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Jordan. The last chapter deals with the reactions of international and non-governmental organizations and compares reports from the Western and Islamic media. |
