| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zjistit, zda mělo arabské jaro vliv na postavení žen v Egyptě, a pokud ano, jaký. V teoretickém rámci bakalářské práce je analyzováno postavení žen ve společnosti ve dvou rovinách. Za prvé je v práci zkoumáno, jak může postavení žen ve společnosti ovlivnit existence (i změna) autoritativního režimu. Dále je studováno, jaký dopad na něj může mít náboženství, konkrétně islám. Po teoretické analýze probírané problematiky je práce formou případové studie zaměřena na situaci v Egyptě při a po arabském jaru. Zde bude detailněji zkoumáno postavení žen a jeho proměny v Egyptě po roce 2011 až do současnosti. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis aims to find out whether the Arab Spring had an impact on the position of women in Egypt, and if so, what kind of impact it was. The theoretical framework of the bachelor's thesis analyses the position of women in society on two levels. First, it is examined in the work how the position of women in society can be affected by the existence (and change) of an authoritarian regime. It also studies the impact that religion, specifically Islam, can have on it. After a theoretical analysis of the issues discussed, the work in the form of a case study will focus on the situation in Egypt during and after the Arab Spring. The position of women and its transformation in Egypt after 2011 till the present will be examined in more detail. |
