| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou workoholismu, což je v posledních letech často využívaný termín převážně v organizačním prostředí a důležitou součástí manažerské praxe. Jedná se o fenomén závislosti na práci, a třebaže je tento pojem široce používán, existuje jen malá shoda mezi výstupy různých studií na tuto problematiku. Diplomová práce srovnává protichudné názory různých autorů, které jsou kriticky hodnoceny, následovány dopady na organizační prostředí, v neposlední řadě také mezinárodním srovnáním. Výzkumná část je zaměřena na české organizační prostředí, ve kterém jsou objasněny souvislosti mezi workoholismem a vybranými proměnnými. Cílem práce bylo tyto souvislosti a vztahy zachytit a zhodnotit, nikoliv workoholismus diagnostikovat. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with workaholism, which is a term often used mainly in the organizational environment and an important part of managerial practice. This is a phenomenon of work dependence, and although the term is widely used, there is little agreement between the results of various studies on this issue. The thesis compares the opposing views of different authors, which are critically evaluated, followed by the impacts on the organizational environment, and international comparison. The research part is focused on the Czech organizational environment, in which the connections between workaholism and selected variables are clarified. The work aimed to capture and evaluate these connections and relationships, not to diagnose workaholism. |
