| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit obchodní teritorium Severokyperská turecká republika (STR) a předložit českým ekonomickým subjektům, jakožto případným obchodníkům nebo investorům, podstatné informace o tomto teritoriu. V první kapitole se věnuji aktuální situaci na ostrově Kypru, mezinárodním vztahům ostrova a historickému pozadí, které na místní politický, kulturní a ekonomický vývoj mělo výrazný vliv. Druhá kapitola je věnována Severokyperské turecké republice jako de facto státu, který je hodnocen pomocí PEST a SWOT analýzy. Dále se věnuji zahraničnímu obchodu a investicím STR, obchodním a investičním příležitostem a na závěr uvádím výsledky výzkumu podnikatelského prostředí, který jsem provedla v březnu a dubnu roku 2021 v tomto teritoriu. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the business territory of The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and to provide to Czech economic entities as potential traders or investors, essential information about this territory. In the first chapter I write about the current situation on the island of Cyprus, the international relations of the island and the historical background, which has had a significant impact on local political, cultural and economic development. The second chapter is describes the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as a de facto state, which is evaluated using PEST and SWOT analysis. I also state important information about foreign trade and investments of TRNC, business and investment opportunities and in the end I present the results of the research of the business environment, which I conducted in March and April 2021 in this territory. |
