| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje české kulturní diplomacii v praxi Českých center. Na základě teoretického vymezení roviny kulturní diplomacie a jejích příbuzných pojmů je prezentováno teoretické ohraničení Českých center. V druhé části jsou teoretické koncepty propojeny s praktickými příklady konkrétních aktivit této organizace. Práce se rovněž zabývá aktuálními výzvami, se kterými se Česká centra potýkají. Důraz je kladen na krátkodobý i přetrvávající vliv pandemie koronaviru na budoucí směřování organizace. Na příkladu fungování Českého centra v Paříži jsou blíže představeny konkrétní aktivity center a vylíčeny dopady, které měla koronavirová krize na běžný chod této konkrétní pobočky. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on Czech cultural diplomacy in the practice of Czech Centres. Based on the theoretical delimitation of the field of cultural diplomacy and its related concepts, the theoretical delimitation of Czech Centres is presented. In the second part, the theoretical concepts are interconnected with practical examples of specific activities of this organisation. The thesis also addresses the current challenges that the Czech Centres are facing. Emphasis is placed on the short and long term impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the future functioning of the organisation. On the example of the functioning of the Czech Centre in Paris, the specific activities of the centres are presented in detail and the impact that the coronavirus crisis has had on the day-to-day running of this particular branch is described. |
