| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na význam sportovních akcí Jizerská padesátka, Zlatá tretra, Pražský mezinárodní maraton a Grand Prix ČR pro cestovní ruch. Výstupem by mělo být zjištění, jak konání určité sportovní události může ovlivnit cestovní ruch v destinaci i destinaci samotnou. Cílem první kapitoly je přiblížení pojmu sportovní cestovní ruch, destinace a event tourism z pohledu několika autorů a nastínění tzv. multiplikačního efektu, který se existencí této specifické formy cestovního ruchu v destinaci objevuje. Druhá kapitola se zabývá faktory, jenž destinaci ovlivňují z ekonomického, enviromentálního a sociálního hlediska. Ve třetí kapitole jsou popsány základní informace o sportovním eventu i destinaci, dále jsou znázorněny data o návštěvnosti za uplynulé roky a rovněž jaký dopad má pořádání sportovní akce na rozvoj cestovního ruchu v konkrétní destinaci. K rozboru osobních rozhovorů s provozovateli ubytovacích zařízení dochází ve čtvrté kapitole. V závěru práce jsou shrnuta přechozí zjištění a vyvozeny závěry z provedené analýzy a rozhovorů. Diplomová práce zohledňuje výhradně aspekty strany nabídky a zjišťuje, že sportovní eventy mají vliv jak na obsazenost hotelu, tak na cenu. Díky eventům si dokonce někteří hosté prodlužují délku pobytu v destinaci. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis focuses on the importance of sports events Jizerská padesátka, Ostrava Golden Spike, Prague International Marathon and Czech Republic Grand Prix for tourism. It indicates how holding a certain sports event can affect tourism in the destination and the destination itself. The aim of the first chapter is to approach the concept of sport tourism, destination and event tourism from the perspective of several authors and outline the multiplying effect, which appears in the destinations thanks to sport tourism. The second chapter deals with the factors that affect the destination from an economic, environmental and social point of view. The third chapter describes basic information about the sports event and destination, as well as data on attendance for recent years and the impact of organizing the sports event on the development of tourism in a particular destination. The analysis of personal interviews with hotel keepers is done in the fourth chapter. In conclusion, the previous findings are summarized, and conclusions are drawn from the analysis and interviews. The diploma thesis takes into account only the aspects of the supply side and finds out that sports events have an impact on both hotel occupancy and the price. Thanks to events, some guests even extend the length of their stay in the destination. |
