| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá elektřinou jakožto obchodovanou komoditou, jejím evropským trhem a konkrétně pak současnými trendy, které na tomto trhu lze pozorovat. V první části práce nejprve identifikuje specifika elektřiny, která vytváří požadavky na strukturu a fungování tohoto trhu a poté samotný trh představí – jeho historický vývoj, účastníky na tomto trhu, jeho strukturu a formy obchodování. V druhé části bude analyzován evropský trh elektřiny ve snaze identifikovat trendy, které na něm můžeme v současné době pozorovat. Bude představena také evropská energetická politika. Tu práce následně zhodnotí a dá doporučení pro její budoucí vývoj v kontextu identifikovaných trendů. V poslední (třetí) části budou zkoumány dopady těchto trendů na trh jednoho vybraného členského státu Evropské unie, České republiky. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of electricity as a traded commodity, its European market and more specifically current trends that can be observed on this market. In its first chapter, the author will identify the specific attributes of electricity which dictate the requirements for the structure and functioning of the market and then introduce the market itself – its development in the past, parties which participate in trading within the market, its structure, and forms of trading. In the second chapter, the author will analyze the European electricity market in order to identify trends which can be currently observed. Furthermore, the European energy strategy will also be introduced and subsequently critiqued in the light of the identified trends. Moreover, it will give recommendations for its future development. The last chapter will examine the impact of the previously identified trends on a national market of one of the member states of the European union, the Czech Republic. |
