| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem a přístupy třetích stran k Izraelsko-palestinskému konfliktu (dále IPK), přičemž za představitele těchto subjektů bylo vybráno Evropské Společenství (resp. později Evropská Unie) jako celek a v rámci ní, jakožto její členská země, Česká republika. V první části je v kontextu konstruktivismu představeno nazírání na svět, resp. mezinárodní vztahy, v rámci čehož je definován koncept identit, jejich zájmů a vnímání ohrožení bezpečnosti vedoucí ke konfliktu. Empirická část začíná uvedením do historie a souvislostí IPK, poté již následuje vývoj postoje ES/EU v kontextu minulého i současného století, a jeho následné zhodnocení, čímž je utvořen rámec pro popis vývoje přístupu ČSSR/ČR, který je též v další kapitole zanalyzován. Závěrečnou část představuje analýza dotazníkového šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jaké povědomí a názory ohledně IPK daní respondenti mají a případně najít souvislosti mezi postoji veřejnosti a vládami. |

| Abstract: | This master’s thesis deals with the development and the approaches of third parties in regard to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (IPC), where the European Community (or later European Union) and - within the framework of it - the Czech Republic were chosen as representatives. The first part describes the Worldview and the perception of the International Relations in the context of the theory called constructivism with the focus on identities, their interests, and the way they sense security threats potentially leading to conflict. The Empirical part begins with the relatedness of the events in the history of the IPC. Next chapter offers the description of EC/EU approach toward the IPC and its subsequent analysis, which is then followed by the same procedure, but this time with the Czech Republic as the third party. The final part is showing the results and evaluation of the survey, which tested the overall knowledge about IPC and also asked about the respondents‘opinion, where the aim was to try to compare the positions of the public and the governments. |
